When Staff members log in to the Staff Dashboard, they have access to their schedule. You can control many aspects of how the Schedule appears to staff members. When using Shifts to record hours, you can prevent staff from editing their shift start and end times.
Tip: This is a useful if you have junior staff members who should not be able to edit their work start or end time.
Can I let Staff Edit their Shifts in the Staff Dashboard?
Navigation: Admin > Settings > Staff Dashboard & Monitor > Staff Dashboard Settings
- Toggle "Allow Shift Editing" to ON or OFF.
- Click "Update."
With "Allow Shift Editing" switched to ON:
- Staff will see the "Edit", "Insert" and "Delete" options and be able to make changes to their shift times in the staff dashboard.
With "Allow Shift Editing" switched to OFF:
- Staff will NOT be able to make changes to their shift times in their dashboard.
