Set Staff Employment Status

This section is designed so you can upload various files to your employee or independent contractor's (IC) staff record. Depending which staff type you choose, different options will appear, so choose the one that most suits your business requirements.

About Custom Fields
Custom fields enable you to customize the clients pages in your database. This means you can add any kind of data you want such as simple text fields, drop down lists, dates, multi-line notes fields, email address fields, image uploads, file uploads, Weblinks and more. If you add custom fields, screenshots may not look the same as your database.

How do I Set or Update a Staff Member's Employment Status?

Navigation: Admin > Staff > select Staff Name > Staff Details > Employment Status


  • Click the option that best applies to your staff member's status, usually either an Employee or an Independent Contractor.
  • The screen will change to display a list of documents that you can either upload a file copy of, or complete the details in the field provided.


Note: The options can be changed or added to. Take a look at Custom Fields to find out how to do this.



Update your employee staff or independent contractor status in dog walker software


To upload a file:
  • Click on the button "Choose File."
  • Navigate to the file you want to upload from your PC and select it. (Acceptable file formats are .jpg .tiff .png .pdf .doc .docx and .txt. The file size limit is 20mb.)
  • Click "Update" once your upload is complete.
