Once you have started using "client types", you will need to know how to add, edit, and delete a client type.

Tip: Client Types group your clients for different purposes, such as to:
  • charge groups of clients different amounts for the same service. Example - you increase the price of boarding but you grandfather a group of clients on the old price.
  • identify clients groups for marketing purposes.
  • identify clients who have certain types of pets.
  • identify clients who use certain types of services such as recurring, daycare or boarding.
  • automatically calculate your prices using Price Rules.
  • automatically calculate pay rates for staff with Staff Pay Rules.

Note: Once Client Types are created, you will need to add a Client Type to a client account before Pet Sitter Plus can automatically calculate your prices and staff pay, and filter any client lists.
