Emailing Clients from the Pet Birthday Report

IMPORTANT: To send mass/bulk emails from Pet Sitter Plus you must first integrate your personal or business email account with Pet Sitter Plus using SMTP. To do this please read all the notes on SMTP in this section here to configure your SMTP or Google integration.

You can email your clients direct from the Pet Birthday Report and send them a communication wishing their pet a Happy Birthday.  You can create your own personalised Pet Birthday Email Template using Merge Codes, that automatically insert the Pet Name and also the Clients Name and even your company Name. 

Below is an example Email Template you could create to send to your clients.

Step 1: How Do I Create a Pet Birthday Email Template?

Navigation: Reports > Admin > Supporting Data > Email Templates

To create a new Email Template to use with the Pet Birthday Report:

• Click on "New."
• Name your new Template, i.e. "Pet Birthday."
• Click "Add New Email Template."

• Enter your email text into the main "Content" area.
• Click "Update."

Tip: You can make the Text "Happy Birthday" more visually appealing by using some of the formatting tools, i.e. make the text larger or a different color, or insert emoji's, an example is shown below:

Step 2: Run The Pet Birthday Report

Navigation: Reports > Pet Birthday Report

Create your report using the filters as described in Understanding The Pet Birthday Report.

Step 3: Select Clients to send an Pet Birthday Email

• Select All or Individual Clients using the checkboxes adjacent to the client name.
• Click "Email."
• Select your "Pet Birthday" email template, (See above).
• Click "Email Clients."

Your Clients will then receive an email from you wishing their Pet a Happy Birthday!
