The Client Account stores client, home and pets details, as well as client order history and payment details. The Location Tab has a map of the area around the client home, for the following purposes:
- Display client location, if Client Address is added in Client Details.
- Display home location of each Staff, if Staff Address was added in Staff Details.
- Staff can map directions to a client location on their phone.
Tip: Using Client Location is helpful to determine which qualified staff is the closest to the client.
Note: To work properly, both Client Address and Staff Address (with zip/postal codes) need to be entered, as well as Staff First Name and Last Name in the Staff Record.
How Do I enter and view the Client Address on the Location Map?
Navigation: Clients > access a client account > Client Information > Client Details
Step 1
- Make sure the Client Address is entered in the Client Details address section.
Step 2
Navigation: Clients > access a client account > Client Information > Location
- Click Location from the Sub Menu on the left.
- A map will display. If map does not display, or if client's location is not indicated by a House Icon on the map, you need to do one of the following:
- If the address is entered, click "Reset Location," then "Save Location."
- If there is no Address, enter the Client Address in Client Details, then return to this page and click "Reset Location," then "Save Location."
Step 3
- The client location is indicated by a House Icon.
- Staff Home Location is indicated by a red pin with Staff initials.
Step 4
Tip: You can Zoom In and Out and pan around the map. You can also switch to Satellite view or drag the little person into the map and have it be street view for help in guiding a staff to a client home.
