Email: Unforseen Circumstances

To improve your communication with clients and staff when there are schedule changes due to unforeseen circumstances, such as inclement weather, you can send an email direct from the Services Schedule in a staff record.


Tip: If you want to send an email about something else, you can use the "blank" email template, or create your own new one. See Managing Email Templates for more information.



How Do I Email Clients and Staff about Inclement Weather from the Staff Services Schedule?

Navigation: Admin > Staff > Click on a staff record > Services


Step 1

  • Select one or more service(s) where you want to send a bulk email to your clients.
  • Click "Email."

Step 2

  • Make sure you have switched the option to ON to send the email to your client(s) and/or your staff member.
  • Next choose the email template that you want to send.
  • Click "Send."

Step 3

The email merge codes in the email template have populated with the client information and been sent to the client and BCC to the staff member.
