Edit Message for Time Off Requests

Staff can request time off using the "Time Off" icon from their Dashboard. You can customize the message at the top of this page with instructions on how to request time off, and what to expect after they submit a request.


Tip: You can use this message to remind staff that their submission is a "request only" and not a definite time off booking until they have had a confirmation from you. This reduces misunderstandings with staff who think that they informed you, but you didn't confirm it.



Note: If you don't wish your staff to request time off through the software, you can switch this option OFF and it will be hidden from their dashboard.



How Can I Change the Message Staff See When Requesting Time Off?

Navigation: Admin > Settings > Staff Time Off


  • In "Text for Request Time Off" enter text.
  • Click "Update."
