Show Client Notes for Admins and Clients

Modified on Thu, 12 Dec at 9:37 AM

When clients send in a Request for Service, they have the option to include notes for the purposes of communicating special instructions to their sitters such as "please walk on a lead today". These are automatically copied to "Staff Notes and can be overwritten, however the "Client Note" is retained. You do have the option to switch off Client Notes in both admins and clients being able to view Client Notes.

How do I Enable or Disable Client Notes sent in from a Service Request?

You can choose whether to retain and view client notes in the client portal schedule and/or admin schedules for admins and/or clients.

Navigation: Admin > Settings > Schedule Settings > Options

Toggle ON:

  • Show Client Request Notes for Admins: To allow Admins to view Client Notes received on Service Requests from the client portal. Client notes will be retained and visible in the Service request processing screen and from Edit Services in the admin schedules.
  • Show Client Request Notes for Clients: To allow clients to view their notes sent with a service request.

If "Show Client Request Notes for Admins" is enabled, you will have the option to view or hide the Client Note from the Unassigned Service Request processing screen.  Useful if there are lengthy client comments.

If "Show Client Request Notes for Clients" is enabled, clients can view their original Client Note from their own schedules in the portal.
