What Does "Can Be Scheduled" allow?

Enabling “Can Be Scheduled” is used for all staff who are active in the field and need to have work assigned to them. Admins who are purely scheduling for others and don't have any services assigned to them should have this option switched OFF.

Staff who "can be scheduled" will appear in the Staff dropdown when services are being assigned.


Understanding Staff Permissions:

Staff Permissions allow you to fully customize the functionality available to particular staff roles within your business. Staff who are assigned work require the staff interface to complete their duties. Senior trusted staff may also require more access to certain scheduling or admin functions, particularly if they look after a team of sitters. In essence, Staff Permissions control which functions you give staff access to; the Interface Permissions control which modules staff can see.

Admins are usually key roles in the running of the business and need access to all or most areas of the software to do their job. Junior admin roles require a reduced set of functions and some areas would need to be restricted for this role. How Do I ensure Staff can have Work assigned to them?

Navigation: Admin > Staff > select Staff Name > Permissions > Staff Permissions


  • Switch ON the option for "Can Be Scheduled."
  • Click "Update."
