Note: Before you can send a quote, you need to have completed the tutorial section Tutorial: 8-1 Upload your Logo.
Once you have created a service order for your client, you have the option to send a quote. Quotes look like invoices but they are not official requests for payment – they are designed to inform clients of how much their services will be. For example, you probably wouldn't send a quote to a regular dog walking client – they already know what your service is going to cost, but you might send a quote to a new boarding client who is booking a 2 week holiday.

Step 1: How do I Send a Quote to a Client?
Scenario: Tammy has created a service order for Ralphie's overnight visits during June while the Adams family are on vacation, and she wants to let her client know how much the service will cost, prior to invoicing them. Once the client approves the cost, she can send an invoice.
1. Navigate to the client record, then click "Orders & Invoices." Click the service order with the overnights on it that you want to send to the client.
2. Click the button for "Send Quote/Invoice"
3. Click the option to "Email Quote" from the menu.
4. The email template "Quote" is pre-configured to be sent out with all quotes. Click "Email Quote" to send your quote to the client's email address that you entered into their client account.
When you email a quote to a client through Pet Sitter Plus, the software will automatically send a BCC copy of the email to the admin email address you have entered into your "Company Information." Below is an example of how the email might look when your client receives it and the quote PDF is attached to the email for downloading or printing out.
Below is an example of how the quote PDF would look when attached to an email that the client receives.
