Customize Booking or Cancellation Restriction Error Messages

When a client attempts to request a service in the client portal after the service request booking restriction, they will be prevented from sending the request. Instead an error message (which you can personalize) will appear informing the client they are unable to request the service.


Tip: Include a message to explain how to contact your office to enquire about last minute availability.



Note: This function DOES NOT support Merge Codes, so type in your contact details for the client to use.



How Can I tell Clients how to Request Last Minute Service when they Can't Request Online?

Navigation:  Admin > Settings > Service Request Settings > Restrictions


  • Enter your message in the  "Booking Restriction Error Message" panel.
  • Click "Update."

How Can I tell Clients how to Cancel a Last Minute Service when they Can't Cancel Online?

Navigation:  Admin > Settings > Service Request Settings > Restrictions


  • Enter your message in the  "Cancellation Restriction Error Message" panel.
  • Click "Update."
