Editing a Time Block on a Service Order

You can edit many options in a Service Order, including the Time Block. Sometimes a client needs a time that is different than your standard, preset time blocks. You can edit a time block on a single service to be any time block necessary. It is possible to edit a single service or multiple services in a service order.


More About Service Orders

A Service Order contains services a client has ordered, for a date range that will be invoiced together, such as one month of daily walks or a 2 week vacation. The services are simultaneously populated to the Schedule and are used to create an Invoice for the Client.


Tip: When editing a service the change applies to all services selected. If you intend to update all services to the new time frame, you can select them all and edit once.


Note: This process only works for Service Items with Time Type of Time Block.



How Do I Edit a Time Block on a Service Order?

Navigation: Clients > access a client account > Orders & Invoices


Step 1

  • Open the Service Order by clicking the blue order label name.
  • Do not click "Quote" or" Invoice No:" Those are not editable.

Step 2

  • Check the box beside service(s) to edit, or check "All" to select all records.
  • Click "Edit."

Step 3

  • Beside the Time Block, client the word "Edit."

Step 4

  • Set the top time to be the start of the Time Block.
  • Set the bottom time to be the end of the Time Block.
  • Click "Done."
  • Then click "Update."
