Tip: Before you can add a Pet Vaccination in a Pet Record, The Pet Vaccination Module will need to have been enabled, navigate to: Admin > Settings > Vaccinations.
Navigation: Clients > Pet Record > Vaccinations
When you enable the vaccinations module in Vaccination settings, a Vaccinations tab will automatically appear under each Pet record.
Note: If there are no vaccinations defined in your system that are appropriate for a type of pet (for example, you might not need to record vaccinations for the pet type “Reptile”) then no Vaccinations tab will be present.
Vaccination Types can be defined by navigating to: Admin > Supporting Data > Vaccination Types
When you click on the Vaccinations tab under the pet record, admins and staff (subject to permissions) will be able to view and manage vaccination data on behalf of clients.
You will be able to add one vaccination record for each Vaccination Type that is available for the type of pet. In the example below three types of vaccination are available for a dog, so the user has a choice of three types.
If you have specified more than one type of vaccination, then you will be able to add further vaccinations from the remaining list.
How do I add a Pet Vaccination?
Select "New Vaccination."
- Select the Vaccination from the drop down list.
- Enter a "Valid Until" date.
- Optional: Upload an Image of a Vaccination Certificate from your PC/MAC by selecting "Choose File."
- Click "Create."
Once you have added one type of vaccination your screen might look something like this (see figure below).
