For any service item, you can decide whether or not the service requires a Vaccination. The "Vaccination Required" function in Service Items directly relates to whether or not a Vaccination flag will appear in your Service Request processing screen.
Note: To enable vaccination flags for your Service Items you must first enable the Vaccination flags settings.
You can enable the "Vaccination Required" function for each Service Item in your Service Items > Advanced settings.
Tip: Example Service Items
For service items that relate directly to a Pet service activity, up to date vaccination evidence is often required to comply with Local Authority legislation.Examples of Service Items that require or do not require valid client pet vaccination information:
- Dog Daycare - Vaccinations required
- Pet Boarding - Vaccinations required
- Pet Food - Vaccinations Not required
- Pet Products - Vaccinations Not required
How do I define whether or not a Service requires a vaccination?
Navigation: Admin > Services > Service Item > Advanced
- Click on a Service Item.
- In the sub menu navigate to "Advanced."
- Toggle ON "Vaccination Required" - If the Service item requires Pet Vaccinations.
- Toggle OFF "Vaccination Required" - If the Service Item does not require Pet Vaccinations.
- Click "Update."
In the example below, a Service Request is sent in for a Daycare for 1 dog Service Item. As this Service item has the "Vaccination Required" setting enabled, a Vaccination Flag is visible for the Service Request showing that (in this instance) the Pet/s vaccinations are up to date.
