The Staff Planner displays capacity and current scheduled services by Service Item Group and can be viewed on multiple devices. Staff can quickly check their availability and capacity with the aid of color coding. Orange indicates the Staff/Sitter is at max capacity and red indicates they are over capacity.
Subject to permissions, from the Planner staff can:
- Access a Client Account
- Editing the Scheduled Service
- Accessing a Client Invoice
- Client Service Order
- Client Keys
- Create and Send Service Report
- Checking in and Out of a Service
- View Staff Time Off
Note: To start using and configure the new Planner, please read Understanding The Planner and for existing users of the Planner, Transitioning over from the Old Planner to the New Planner.

How Do Staff View Their Scheduled Services in The Planner
Navigation: Scheduler > My Schedules > My Planner
Step 1
The Planner shows a count of Scheduled Services for the current week and will identify if the staff member is at full capacity by highlighting the day in orange, or if over capacity, highlighted in red. A staff member can also see, (if recorded), their scheduled Time Off.
- Click on any of the Service Item Groups that are displayed in blue.
Note: If the Service Item "Group" is not displayed in blue, there are no scheduled services for that group.
Step 2
- Under the Service Item Group, the Service Item for each of the scheduled pets are visible.
- From here, click on the shaded Pet Name to access the Edit Services page.
Step 3
- Subject to Staff Permissions, changes to a Service can be made from the Edit Services page. For a full list of attributes that can be edited on this page, view Edit Services from the Planner.
Additional Features of the Planner
As well as viewing scheduled services and staff capacity from the Planner, subject to Staff Permissions, additional features and functions are available.
Note: To allow Staff to Edit Services in their Planner, enable the Staff Permission "Can Change My Planner".
- Click a Service count to access service and client details
From the Planner details page, (subject to Staff Permissions, staff can access the following features:
