Add My Company Settings

Company Settings is used throughout your database on items like Invoices and in email Merge Codes. This article explains how to set up your company information.

Navigation: Admin > Settings > Company Information


Company Name

The “Name” field should contain the name of your company.


How Is your Company Name Used?

  1. The Company Name field ("Name") appears at the top of quotes, invoices and account summaries used throughout the system.
  2. Company name can also be inserted into emails and invoice narratives using the {COMPANY_NAME} merge code.
  • Enter the company name into the "Name" field.
  • Click "Update."

The “Name” and "Address" appear at the top of quotes, invoices and account summaries.


Tip: You can also see on the invoice below where other merge codes have been populated, such as {COMPANY_PHONE}, {COMPANY_EMAIL} etc.

Company Email

  1. Quotes, invoices and system notifications (like online booking and cancellation notices) are by default CC'd to the main business email address. You can read here how to stop Invoices, Quotes being CC'd to the main business email. 
  2. Company email can be inserted into emails and invoice narratives using {COMPANY_EMAIL} merge code.

There are controls to select which emails get CC'd to your company email address. For example, you can stop Service Reports from being CC'd, but continue to receive CC's of Invoices and Quotes.
  • Enter the company email address into the "Email Address" field.
  • Click "Update."


Tip: It is possible to enter a distribution list here if required by entering a comma between email addresses.

Reply To Email Address

Client responses to emails sent from Pet Sitter Plus (direct and SMTP emails) are sent to this address. 
  • Enter the reply-to email address into the "Reply-to Email Address" field.
  • Click "Update."


Tip: You can only have one reply-to email address, however if replies need to be sent to a number of individuals, you can enter a distribution list here by entering a comma between email addresses.

Vacation Alert Email Address

When staff request vacation from their "Time Off" Calendar, an email is sent to the “Vacation Alert Email Address.” 
  • Enter the vacation email address into the "Vacation Alert Email Address" field.
  • Click "Update."


Tip: If vacation alerts need to be sent to a number of individuals, you can enter a distribution list here by entering a comma between email addresses.

Company Phone Number

The company phone number can be included in any document, email or narrative using the merge code {COMPANY_PHONE}.
  • Enter the company phone number into the "Phone Number" field.
  • Click "Update."

Company Address

The “Address” appears at the top of quotes, invoices and account summaries. Company Address is not set up as a merge code.
  • Enter the company address into the "Address" field.
  • Click "Update."
