Set a Default Client Price for your Services

Modified on Thu, 19 Dec at 10:10 AM

When setting up your services, you will want to set a default or standard charge for your services to save time when scheduling work.

The default charge is:
  • the amount clients usually pay for this service.
  • increased or decreased for certain situations or clients using Price Rules.
  • used to calculate default staff pay if you pay based on percentage, i.e. if a walk is charged at $20 and staff are paid 50%.
Tip: In the service order, you can edit the price for any of your services, before you create an Invoice to send to the client.

What is a service item?

A Service Item is a description and price for a service you provide, such as dog walk, pet sit, boarding, overnight, dog training, etc. Service items create your Schedule, Service Orders, and Invoices. A Service Item that is set for a time and date is assigned to a staff member to create the schedule.
