Display Time Options

For each Service Item, you can choose whether or not to have the Service Time displayed in the schedules. This option has three settings which you can select from the drop down menu:


  • "Always" If you always want the service time displayed on the schedule if you require a service to start at a specific time.
  • "Never"  - If you never want the service time displayed on the schedule if the start time for staff is flexible.
  • "Admins can Choose" - If you want an Admin/Scheduler to have the choice to display the service time on the schedule via a "Display Time" toggle button


How Do I Set The Display Time Option for a Service Item?


Navigation: Admin > Services > Select Service Item > Time Blocks and Time

 

Step 1


Firstly choose your preferred Time Type, there are seven options available:

  • Time -  is the standard time type and is a specific time as displayed in the schedule and in the Portal. 
  • Time Blocks- provide flexible time windows during which a service will be provided.  The Time Blocks display on the Schedule and when clients request a Service from the Client Portal. 
    • Add a Time Block: Select +. Use the slider to set the times for the block.
    • Delete a Time Block: Select -.
    • Default Time To Middle Of Time Block: Sets the Default time of the service to the middle of the time block, which determines the column the service will be displayed in on the Column View schedule (morning, afternoon, etc).
    • Set Time to Default: Choose a set time to which this service is always scheduled, which is useful if you want the service to always appear in the same column / place in your schedule.
  • Anytime - is used for services like cat sitting which allows you to be flexible as to when the service is delivered. Uses the schedule headings such as morning, afternoon and evening for the service time.
  • All Day - is used for daycare bookings that don't require a specific time. Uses the schedule headings such as morning, afternoon and evening for the service time.
  • Half Day - represents either an AM or PM half day booking. Uses the schedule headings such as morning, afternoon and evening for the service time.
  • All Night - is used for overnight bookings that don't require a specific time. Uses the schedule headings such as morning, afternoon and evening for the service time.
  • Overnight - is used for overnight bookings that do need a pre-defined start and end time. Uses the schedule headings such as morning, afternoon and evening for the service time.


Step 2


Select your preferred Display Time option to determine whether or not a service time is displayed in the schedules.

  • Select "Always" If you always want the service time displayed on the schedule if you require a service to start at a specific time.
  • Select "Never"  - If you never want the service time displayed on the schedule if the start time for staff is flexible.
  • Select  "Admins can Choose" - If you want an Admin/Scheduler to have the choice to display the service time on the schedule via a "Display Time" toggle button



Display Time Default

When "Admins can Choose" is selected as a "Display Time", from the drop down menu select the default setting for the service as either:

  • Select "Yes" - If the majority of the time you want your staff to view the service time within the schedule.
  • Select "No" - If the majority of the tine you do not want your Staff to view the service time within the schedule.


Remember to Click "Update" when you have made any changes.
